Artificial grass fields fall under paved surfaces in terms of weed control legislation wet and are for that reason subject to restrictions on the use of chemical agents. From November 2015 no control agents will be allowed any more. Using the WAVE method (boiling hot water) to control algae and mosses on these fields is extremely successful with careful use. The algae and mosses are boiled and die off. Rain and use do the rest. Your choice of machine on these fields depends on the field's bearing capacity. The thin layer of hot water in the WAVE method needed to carry out weed control is by no means sufficient to affect the fibres of the grass matting. In the event of doubt, ask for our advice.
